These 30 spread wings are from the Florida Museum of Natural History.
All species are included on the Official State List
for Florida. The specimens are in current taxonomic order (by family). Each
photo has a group of related species (to family/subfamily/order). Each specimen
has both dorsal and ventral views.

Instructions
- Once you start the quiz, you will see the dorsal and ventral pictures.
- Match the Wing Number from the pictures with the current Skin Number.
- Identify the Wing.
- You can select the species from the Answer Box List, or you can begin typing the
species name in the Answer Box. (Note - the Answer Box uses JavaScript. If
JavaScript is not enabled on your browser, you must type in the name. Remeber -
Spelling counts!!!)
- The Next Skin Button takes you to the next skin.
- The Go Back Button takes you back to the previous skin.
- Review Answers Button shows your current answers. From the Review Page, you can
return to any skin.
- Once you review your answers, submit for grading.
